We are pleased to announce the release of Maxial Premium - Web Booking Interface Version 8.6.1, which includes significant enhancements to our Web Booking Interface, particularly the integration with Exely CRS.

8.6.1 :

Web Booking Interface

  • Exely Integration is Now Live
    Maxial PMS now connects seamlessly with Exely CRS, making it easier to manage bookings, rates, and room availability—all in real time.
  • Updated Configuration for Better Compatibility
    The system now supports Exely’s API version 1.17, with all the necessary setup already built in.
  • Rooms, Rates, Company Profiles & Channels Mapping
    We’ve made sure company profiles include negotiated rooms, rates and that channel settings are aligned with Exely’s structure.

8.5.0 :

Web Booking Interface

  • New SU Staah Integration Flow
    We’ve added support for SU Staah, using a new format while still keeping the old STAAH format intact.
  • Better Compatibility with Maxial
    Several configuration updates have been made to ensure everything works smoothly within the Maxial ecosystem.
  • Improved Error Tracking for SU Staah
    SU Staah error messages won’t appear on the web interface—but don’t worry, you can find all the details in the Event Viewer.
  • Updated System Settings
    We’ve made sure all the necessary mappings, interface codes, and company profiles are aligned with SU Staah’s requirements.

8.3.41 :

Front Office

  • Allotment selection will now only show allotments that are valid for the stay dates, i.e. hiding past and future allotments.
  • Floor Display now shows room status colours in the room status column as a background. This option can also be expanded to include NI rooms in yellow via the Front Office Configuration Use Tri-Color Status option.
  • Significantly improved load time in Foreign Currency Exchange.

Functions

  • Renamed Consultant Setup to Functions Consultant Setup. Functions Statistics Report now includes options to group by either Functions Consultant or Front Office Consultant.
  • Function Invoices can now be zeroed out for correction purposes. Zero invoices can be settled as per normal.

Stock Control

  • Purchase Requisition Transaction Codes can now be adjusted after a Requisition has been approved, the same as on fill.

Activities

  • Fixed an issue where a new Activity created via Booking Chart would not use the Default Rate.
  • Fixed an issue when trying to room charge to a different folio than the one linked to the Activity where the original folio was checked out but it would prevent charging to the new folio which was in-house.

POS Touch

  • Added new POS command type to flag items as temporarily unavailable or sold out. When used, the item’s button will be visibly marked as Sold Out and users will not be able to add this item to a check until it is made available again. By default, when applied through POS, items will be unavailable until midnight that night. This option must be added to the menu setup as a command button before it can be used. The item’s sold out status can also be changed through Menu Maintenance.
  • Added a rounding option for POS to apply rounding to credit card transactions. This uses the cash rounding amount and can be found with the existing cash rounding field in Menu Maintenance.
  • Added additional fields Created By and Settled By for Checks. These can be added to the check docket template like other fields. These fields will automatically record the name of the Waiter who created and closed the check respectively.

Other

  • Web Bookings from all channels will now correctly use the system default arrival time unless one is provided.

8.3.40 :

Front Office

  • Added an option to attach documents (max 10mb) to Front Office bookings, including both FIT and Group attachments. This option can be found in a new tab in the Booking screens named Attachments.
  • Added a new function to record generic daily events to the Reception menu. This will allow you to record the time and description of the event, and will automatically record details of who has created/completed it and when. These events can also be flagged as completed at any time and filtered down by any of the fields.
  • Fixed an issue where Room Requests and Standard Requests would not populate on profiles that had none added already.
  • Added an option to Front Office Configuration, Print Adv Dep Detail on Invoice, to display payment and credit card surcharge detail in place of applied deposit amounts on the guest Invoice print only.
  • Added an option for custom subject lines in Letter Templates for confirmation emails. This has a freetext field and right click options to insert merge fields. This only applies to email templates.

Activities

  • The Activity times in Activity Bookings are now split into multiple columns allowing sorting on either time or name individually.

Other

  • Added two alternative colour schemes to Maxial Premium, MaxialSilver and MaxialGold. This option can be selected from the Hotel Setup menu under Hotel Configuration. This is currently a work in progress as some areas of the application may not yet correctly apply the colour scheme. This will apply hotel to hotel, so all users logging into one hotel will see the same scheme.
  • All users can now temporarily lock their Maxial clients using the Lock User link on the main screen. This will require the user to input their password again to unlock, or otherwise log out entirely.
